Are you and your students curious about hearing news other than the flashy headlines? Dr. Michael Matthews, Associate Professor of History, will analyze recent developments in Venezuela;
Dr. Mussa Idris, Assistant Professor of Anthropology, will talk about some bright news: peace agreement between Ethiopia and Eritrea; and,
Dr. Safia Swimelar, Associate Professor of Political Science, will summarize waves of populism and nationalism in present day Europe.
Dr. Baris Kesgin, Assistant Professor of Political Science, will introduce and moderate the panel. After the faculty presentations, there will be time for questions and answers.
