Men's Club Rugby

Elon University Men's Rugby Club is an organization that exists to play and teach the game of Rugby. Club Rugby is a great way to get involved on campus and join an organization that fosters teamwork and friendship. Whether your rugby experience was highly competitive in high school, more casual, or you have no experience at all, our club is a great way to continue playing or start playing the game. We practice three times per week for 2 hours and have games on Saturdays. We play in the Southern Rugby Conference against the schools Western Carolina, Appalachian State, UNC Charlotte, Furman, Wake Forest, UNC Greensboro, UNC Chapel Hill, East Carolina, UNC Wilmington, Coastal Carolina, The Citadel, and College of Charleston. No matter your skill level our team is open for anyone to join. During our conference games and tournaments we play our most competitive line-up, but throughout the year we also have B-side games where younger players have a chance to get into live games and develop their skills.

Again, experience is by no means a requirement. Most of our team has never played before joining our team.Whether it's in a competitive conference match for the more experienced players or in a friendly match for new guys just trying it out, everyone will have an opportunity to get playing time in every season.
