Elon Society of Computing
About
The Elon Society of Computing is a professional and interest based club in the department of computer science which meets weekly. ESC is all about connecting with other CS majors, as well as students interested in programming, learning about internships and research opportunities, and much more! We have academic development meetings where we invite guest speakers who speak about their experiences in the professional world. These meetings allow members to enrich their professional and academic development. The academic development of members is furthered even more through group programming projects, through which ESC members develop functional, real world programs with which they can wow interviewers. We also have social meetings at which members are able to interact, discussing computer science and school in general. Through social meetings our members become part of a network of Elon Computer Science alumni, enriching their future careers. At our social meetings, we facilitate networking through games and other social activities to build strong connections between our members.
