NC Student Legislature

The North Carolina Student Legislature is a nonprofit organization spread across chapters at multiple North Carolina colleges and universities. Its purpose is to give students the opportunity to participate in a mock state legislative process. Students draft resolutions, have the opportunity to debate them with their peers across the state, and often go on to turn resolutions into actual bills to be debated and voted on at our annual session. About 70% of NCSL's legislative ideas get written into actual state law! This is a great organization for anyone who wants to play a role in changing North Carolina for the better.
