oSTEM at Elon

Out in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics is a national LGBTQIA-affirming organization that aims to provide services and support for students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics and to create a dynamic network between students and professionals in industry and academia. In order to uphold this purpose, oSTEM at Elon intends to:

1. Inform the campus about guest speakers and events.
2. Provide STEM outreach to our surrounding Alamance school systems.
3. Actively engage with the Gender and LGBTQIA Center and bring these conversations into the STEM fields.
4. Create spaces at Elon for LGBTQIA identifying students in STEM feilds.
