At Sigma Phi Epsilon, we base our daily actions around our central mission: Building Balanced Men.
Sigma Phi Epsilon has been pursuing this mission since 1901, and this mission is powered by our three cardinal principles; Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love. A "SigEp" brother lives these three principles in their everyday life, and each brother participates in SigEp's "Balanced Man Program", a program designed to mature young men into adults ready for the world after college.
Sigma Phi Epsilon truly is different. Our chapter specifically offers many SLCs (SigEp Learning Communities) where professionals cover topics that aid college students, such as personal finance, using LinkedIn, applying to internships, creating a professional resume, exploring the history and culture of wine, and many other topics specifically catered to our brother's desires.
Sigma Phi Epsilon NC Mu's focus on Elon University's campus is to progress the presence of Elon University's values in their lives; Honesty, Integrity, Responsibility, and Respect. Aside from following Elon's values, we have a strong on-campus presence. Each year we raise $20k+ for the AFSP (American Federation for Suicide Prevention; our philanthropy is men's mental health awareness) during a week of on-campus fundraising. Aside from our communal efforts, many of our brothers are involved in on-campus organizations such as: IFC, Alpha Kappa Psi, Delta Sigma Pi, Beta Alpha Psi, Kappa Alpha Omicron, CHAMPS, Innovation Fellows, Business Fellows, Campus Recreation and Wellness, the Student Development Center, Club Lacrosse, Club Hockey, Club Rugby, the Elon Consulting Club, and many more organizations.
